Corkscrew Rush, Juncus Twisted Arrow, Juncus effusus ‘Spiralis’. The foliage of this plant cannot be tamed. It is unruly and unique and it has various growing patterns. Some of the grass is straight and some spirals like a corkscrew hence the name Corkscrew Rush.
This plant offers various growing options. It can either be in well drained soil or boggy conditions. Whatever preference one chooses, ensure the soil never completely dries.
Corkscrew Rush grows best in full sun but can also be grown in partial shade.
Corkscrew rush thrives in any type of soil including sand, loam or even mixed clay
